Synopsis

The vast, surging waves of the ocean serve as a metaphor for transformation and continuity. Inspired by the 2014 Pulitzer Prize-winning music piece Become Ocean by John Luther Adams the choreographic duo LEE\VAKULYA explored the irresistible motion of the tides in its eponymous new creation for the Hessian State Ballet during the 2025/2026 season. Now this thrilling piece returns in a film version in cinemas across the Rhein-Main region.
