Synopsis

The animal and plant universe in Karkerou is both fascinating and mysterious. All living creatures construct their own particular world there and adapt ingeniously to their surroundings. Above all, the animals and plants talk to each other. Although we humans can often only guess what they might be telling each other.

Together with two dancers, the young audience goes on a voyage of discovery through movement. Which creatures will they meet? Will they be shy and hide? Or will they be excited and rush about? Will they make strange noises? Maybe they will freeze or change their shape? Many things only seem rather strange at first sight, everything is really very different from how we might think.

The mobile dance piece Karkerou that also visits children directly at school stops off at the Mousonturm as part of Tanzfestival Rhein-Main. A piece that invites its viewers to experience dance, music and fantastic creatures directly and immediately.
