Tea dances were social highlights of the 1920s. They offered an unpressured environment in which to make new acquaintances. People would dance, laugh, size each other up, explore, enjoy
meaningful conversations and dance some more. Tanzfestival Rhein-Main will revive the traditional tea dance complete with a live orchestra as a reminder that dance is not just beautiful to look at but also something everyone can experience and enjoy!
