For a special dancefloor-oriented edition, as part of the Tanzfestival Rhein-Main, we are excited to welcome the French musician and producer Cate Hortl to the Secret Salon. With cutting synths, stoic beats, and an occasional reverb-laden voice, she delves deep into the bag of tricks from the last 40 years of electronic club music. The result is a furious mix of EBM, techno, dark pop, and a hint of Italo-disco that, despite all the references, doesn’t feel outdated at all.
The DJ part will be taken over by MSKI, who has been playing her rough mix of acid, trance, ghetto tech, and hardgroove through the nights of the Rhein-Main area for quite some time – and tonight, finally, through the Mousonturm venue as well!
