‘BLOOM’ is an other, a stranger, a messenger whose oddness is fascinating. Inspired by the neofuturist movement, this creature explores the tenson between the old and the new. It is a being in search of an identity, trying to adapt to its environment and consequently achieve independence.

In ‘BLOOM’, the dancer and choreographer Jennifer Dubreuil Houthemann invites you to a choreographic and musical performance with live accompaniment by DJ Marion Faure. Emerging out of a collection of forms, gestures, sounds and emotions, we experience the metamorphosis of a unique creature that attempts to both imitate and interpret the sonic landscape that unfolds before it.

‘BLOOM’ is a response to our rapidly changing world and enquires how technological progress, social trends and human interactions influence our perceptions of time, identity and reality in the digital age.
